Rally 2009 locations are set map your route
Launch Event
South East Asia provides the perfect backdrop for the Cannonball 8000 rally with many beautiful places to visit. The weekend will start in Singapore and end in Phuket, visting Kuala Lumpur and Penang on the way. In true Cannonball style we like to keep you interested in the details, so have put a high level overview for starters, more will follow.
Friday 24th April
Having recovered from the pre event party the night before, the rally will leave Singapore via Orchard Road, allowing everyone in town to see the wonderful array of cars. Destination for the first night will be Kuala Lumpur and an amazing hotel, for an amazing night of food, drink and partying!
Saturday 25th April
Saturday morning will see everyone leave, heading to the F1 circuit of Sepang to ensure everyone has the opportunity to push their car to the limit. After a few spins on the track and some lunch everyone will head towards Penang for another wonderful night.
Sunday 26th April
The final day is the one to sort the men from the boys as the long drive will take everyone from Penang all the way to Phuket for the final night. This is the day the film crew are guaranteed to get some great footage allowing a showcase of everyone on the event. And being the last night, of course it will be the best, the one where everyone can let their hair down to party through until the early hours!
